Edit shapes

In the Shapes main menu, you can use the following editing tools that allow you to modify shapes with precision and give you greater control and accuracy in urban modeling workflows:

You can edit shapes using the following tools on the toolbar:

Cleanup Shapes Cleanup shapes

Cleanup shapes to simplify geometry such as faces, vertices, and edges.

You can use the following additional edit tools in the Shapes main menu:

Compute First Edges and Street Edges

Calculate first edges and street width attributes of the selected shapes.

Compute Edge Attributes

Compute the orientation and street adjacency attributes for each edge of a shape.

Set First Edge

Set the first edge of a face to the currently selected edge.

Set Street Edges

Mark the selected edges as street edges.

Subdivide Shapes

Compute smaller shapes from selected shapes.

Reverse Normals

Reverse the face normals of the selected shapes.

Separate Faces

Separate individual shapes for every face of a selected a shape or multiple shapes.

Combine Shapes

Combine all the faces of the selected shapes into a single shape.

Union Shapes

Perform a Boolean union of all selected shapes.

Subtract Shapes

Perform a Boolean subtraction of the lead selection shape from all other selected shapes.

Offset Shapes

Create a offset shape inside the selected shape or multiple shapes.

Remove Holes

Remove all holes from the selected shapes.

Convert Models to Shapes

Convert CGA models to shapes for manual editing.
