No. The annual U.S. data update for ArcGIS Business Analyst Enterprise and ArcGIS Business Analyst Pro happens independently of the software release schedule. The U.S. data update is first made available in ArcGIS Online and then becomes available for ArcGIS Business Analyst Enterprise and ArcGIS Business Analyst Pro shortly after. The U.S. data downloads on My Esri are located in the U.S. Data for use with ArcGIS Business Analyst Enterprise product section whereas the software downloads are located in ArcGIS Business Analyst Enterprise.
No. ArcGIS Business Analyst Enterprise and ArcGIS Business Analyst Pro come with geocoding and streets data as part of the annual U.S. data update. However, this is not the same as having access to StreetMap Premium, which provides coverage for more regions and has a more frequent data update schedule.
Are the geocoding and streets data provided with ArcGIS Business Analyst Enterprise and ArcGIS Business Analyst Pro the same as what comes with the StreetMap Premium?
The locator and streets data included with ArcGIS Business Analyst Enterprise and ArcGIS Business Analyst Pro are derived from StreetMap Premium data. This is packaged as part of the annual U.S. data update to support tools and capabilities that use geocoding and routing. StreetMap Premium is not included with ArcGIS Business Analyst Enterprise. StreetMap Premium has a more frequent release schedule and may not always be in sync with the annual U.S. data update schedule for ArcGIS Business Analyst Enterprise.
The ArcGIS Pro add-on licenses and extensions included with Business Analyst Enterprise are located on My Esri. By default, these add-on licenses are available for portals that use ArcGIS Online licensing and are available under the licensing section for ArcGIS Online. For organizations that use an ArcGIS Enterprise licensing portal, customer service can migrate the licenses to use ArcGIS Enterprise licensing.
Yes. Staging licenses are provided with Business Analyst Enterprise to stage annual U.S. data updates and software upgrades, conduct user acceptance, performance and load testing, and training activities. Testing at this level results in a decision to apply the changes on the production environment or reject the changes and wait for a new iteration from the development environment.
Yes. The product life cycle for Business Analyst Enterprise is shorter than the standard product life cycle for ArcGIS Enterprise. This is because Business Analyst Enterprise has a strong dependency on the bundle of data which changes frequently and has limited backward compatibility.
