Introduction to Resource Management

Resource Management provides capabilities that help National Guard logistics units maintain resource accountability and monitor readiness.

The National Guard consists of 54 state- and territory-based forces, each responsible for its state's logistics functions. Equipment accountability, maintenance, and supply tracking are often managed through disconnected or manual processes. As a result, commanders lack timely, reliable visibility into equipment readiness. Limited access to technology and technical staff can make it difficult to train, standardize workflows, and maintain current logistics data.

Resource Management delivers a set of capabilities that allow users to gather equipment information, monitor real-time unit logistics readiness, and gain situational awareness to support sustainment planning.

The following are the release notes:

Version	Description
2.0 (Sep 2026)	A new Unit Locations feature layer allows supply specialists to document and maintain unit location and information that is used throughout the Resource Management solution. A new Survey123 inventory survey enables supply specialists to conduct resource inventories in the field and maintain current accountability data for resources and equipment. The new Unit Locations Map supports supply specialists by providing a common operational picture of unit locations within the Unit Staging Center app. The Resource Management Dashboard app has been replaced by the Resource Management Center dashboard. The new dashboard provides leadership with expanded visibility into current resource status, readiness trends, and maintenance details to support resource planning and decision-making. The new Resource Management Dashboard Map supports leadership by providing a geographic view of resource locations, accountability, maintenance status, and readiness information within the Resource Management Center.
1.1 (Apr 2022)	A new Resource Management Dashboard allows logistics staff to monitor individual assets. Multiple layers are shared with the Civil Support solution and can be utilized for tasking workflows during mission coordination.
