Configure the Sun Position Analysis Project
The Sun Position Analysis solution includes an ArcGIS Pro project you can use to familiarize yourself with the solution and create a hillshade identifying areas of potential natural concealment. When you are ready, you can configure the Sun Position Analysis Project and begin.
To configure the Sun Position Analysis Project, complete the following steps:
- Sign in to your ArcGIS organization and browse to the Sun Position Analysis Project desktop application template.
- From the item page, click Download.
- Unzip the downloaded folder, and then from the unzipped folder, open the ArcGIS Pro project.
- If you do not see the Catalog pane, from the View tab, in the Windows group, click Catalog Pane.
- In the Catalog pane, expand the Tasks folder and then double-click the Sun Position Analysis task item.
