Military Overlay can be used to create and share military overlays with standard military symbology.

Configure the Military Overlay solution
The Military Overlay solution includes two ArcGIS Pro projects you can use to familiarize yourself with the solution and create, then share military overlays using standard military symbology. Choose the workflow below that best suits the needs of your organization.
Configure the Military Overlay solution to use MIL-STD-2525B with change 2
The Military Overlay solution contains an ArcGIS Pro project for working with MIL-STD-2525B with change 2 symbology.
To configure the Military Overlay 2525B change 2 project, complete the following steps:
- Sign in to your ArcGIS organization and browse to the Military Overlay 2525B change 2 desktop application template.
- From the item page, click Download.
- Unzip the downloaded folder, and then from the unzipped folder, open the ArcGIS Pro project.
- If you do not see the Catalog pane, from the View tab, in the Windows group, click Catalog Pane.
- In the Catalog pane, expand the Tasks folder and then double-click the Military Overlay MIL-STD-2525B Change 2 task item.
Configure the Military Overlay solution to use a standard of your choice
The Military Overlay solution contains a blank ArcGIS Pro project for working with military symbology.
To configure the Military Overlay project, complete the following steps:
- Sign in to your ArcGIS organization and browse to the Military Overlay desktop application template.
- From the item page, click Download.
- Unzip the downloaded folder, and then from the unzipped folder, open the ArcGIS Pro project.
- If you do not see the Catalog pane, from the View tab, in the Windows group, click Catalog Pane.
- In the Catalog pane, expand the Tasks folder and then double-click the Military Overlay task item.
