Deploy an ArcGIS Solution

- Start ArcGIS Pro and create or open a project.
- On the Share tab, in the Deploy group, click ArcGIS Solutions.
- Double-click Sign in to ArcGIS organization in the Tasks pane and click the Finish button.
- Double-click Deploy an ArcGIS Solution in the Tasks pane.
A blue information icon next to a solution means a new version of the solution is now available. You can select the solution and click the Deploy button to deploy the new version in your portal.

Once deployment is complete, click the green check mark next to the solution to review it in your ArcGIS portal. A red x next to a solution means the deployment failed. - Click the Finish button.
The ArcGIS Solutions Deployment Tool Add-In creates all the ArcGIS items included with the solution and places them in a folder you designate in your content.
Deployment options
The ArcGIS Solutions Deployment Tool has several options that can be accessed in the Options menu in the Deploy an ArcGIS Solution task.
Option | Description |
---|---|
Use Existing Items In The Organization | By default, if an item has already been deployed in the portal, it will not be re-created when deploying a new item. If you need to create another version of a solution in your portal, disable this option. |
Use Organization's Default Basemap | By default, web maps created during deployment will use the basemap configured for the solution. To use your portal's default basemap, enable this option. |
Add GPS Metadata Fields | When enabled, feature layers created during the deployment will have additional fields that can be used by ArcGIS Collector to capture GPS metadata when editing point features. |
Spatial Reference | Specify the output spatial reference of feature layers created during the deployment. By default, the output spatial reference is WGS 1984 Web Mercator (Auxiliary Sphere). |
