In this workflow, you will assume the role of a geospatial analyst who wants to become familiar with the Gridded Reference Graphic Project.
- In the Tasks pane, expand the Explore Gridded Reference Graphic task group to see the Overview task.

Create a Gridded Reference Graphic
To create a meaningful Gridded Reference Graphic product, you must create grids to divide the geography of your area of interest and mark up buildings and points of interest.
To use the Gridded Reference Graphic Project, expand the Use the Gridded Reference Graphic project task group.
Add reference imagery

Create grids

Mark intersections
You can mark intersections or other points of interest in your map with unique designations. Double-click the Mark and designate intersections task and complete the steps.
Export a Gridded Reference Graphic product
After you have finished creating a Gridded Reference Graphic product, you can distribute your product for others to use.
To export your Gridded Reference Graphic product, expand the Export Gridded Reference Graphic task group.
Export a PDF
You can export your finished Gridded Reference Graphic product as a PDF. Double-click the Export to PDF task and complete the steps.
Share a map service
In addition to exporting a PDF, you can share your Gridded Reference Graphic product as a map service. Double-click the Publish Gridded Reference Graphic as map service task and complete the steps.
