Introduction to Daily Activity Dashboard

Daily Activity Dashboard can be used to understand recent trends and visualize current hot spots to improve daily response efforts.

Many agencies attempt to reduce crime by using place-based policing, but they struggle because inefficient data processes and static analysis products impede their ability to efficiently detect and respond to hot spots. To effectively allocate operational resources, agencies want to map crime and calls for service daily and use this information to allocate resources to emerging hot spots before they get out of hand.  Daily Activity Dashboard is typically implemented by law enforcement agencies that want to implement new or revise their existing crime reduction operational processes.

The Daily Activity Dashboard solution delivers a set of capabilities that help you manage incident data, monitor daily activity, and identify current incident hot spots.

When you deploy this solution in your ArcGIS organization, you also get an ArcGIS solution item that organizes the key information products and summarizes all the ArcGIS items (applications, forms, projects, maps, feature layers, feature layer views, and so on) included with the solution.
