The Conservation Outreach solution delivers a set of capabilities that help you capture and manage wildlife conflicts and engage local communities.
In this topic, you’ll learn how to use the solution by assuming the role of a user and performing the workflows below.

You will start by assuming the role of a mobile worker in a protected area collecting wildlife conflict incidents. You have been asked to use the Wildlife Conflict Reporter survey to collect wildlife conflict incidents.
- On a mobile device, in ArcGIS Survey123, open the Wildlife Conflict Reporter form.
- Tap Collect.
- Complete the survey with as much information as possible.

Required information is marked with a red asterisk.
- Tap Submit, and then tap Send now.
Manage wildlife conflicts
Next, you will assume the role of a community outreach staff member. You will review wildlife conflict incidents by completing the following steps:
- In a browser, sign in to your ArcGIS organization, and then browse to the Conservation Outreach solution.
- View the Wildlife Conflict Manager app.
Wildlife incident reports are listed in the table at the top. The table can be sorted and filtered in various ways.
- In the table column headers, use the filters and arrows to filter results.
- Select a wildlife conflict incident from the table.
The report details open at the bottom left.
- In the report details, click the Edit Record button .
- Make any necessary updates to the report, and then click Save.
Monitor wildlife conflict programs
Now, you will assume the role of a protected area manager. You will monitor the status of wildlife conflict incidents within and around a protected area.
- In a browser, sign in to your ArcGIS organization, and then browse to the Conservation Outreach solution.
- View the Wildlife Conflict Dashboard app.
- On the left, adjust the filters to refine the results.
- On the right, select a wildlife conflict incident from the list.
The map zooms to the incident, and a pop-up with incident details appears.
- Review the incident details.
