The BMP Enrollment Survey can be used by program managers to enroll agricultural producers in BMP programs. The BMP Verification Survey verifies that best management practices are being followed, while the BMP Enrollment Status dashboard can be used to track participation and understand participation trends.
Enroll participants
You will assume the role of a mobile worker enrolling agricultural producers in BMP programs.
- Download ArcGIS Survey123 to a mobile device, if necessary.
- On the mobile device, open the app, and then open the BMP Enrollment Survey form.
- Tap Collect.
- Complete the survey with as much information as possible.
- Tap the check mark, and then tap Send Now to submit the form.
Verify participants
You will assume the role of a mobile worker verifying agricultural producers enrolled in BMP programs are adhering to best management practices.
- On a mobile device, in ArcGIS Survey123, open the BMP Verification Survey.
- Tap Inbox and, if no surveys appear, tap Refresh.
- Find your site in the list or tap Map to find sites near you.
- After you find your site, tap it to open the survey.
- Scroll to the Verification of Implementation section and update the information.
- Tap the check mark, and then tap Send Now.
Monitor participation
You will assume the role of a BMP manager monitoring enrollment and verification trends in your BMP program.
- In a browser, sign in to your ArcGIS organization, and then browse to the Agricultural Best Management Practices solution.
- View the BMP Enrollment Status app.
- Use the dashboard to visualize your data.
Use best management practices metrics
The Best Management Practice Dashboard can be used by policy makers and constituents to understand overall program metrics for watersheds, counties, or legislative boundaries. It is typically used to understand how BMP programs are improving water quality, the total number of producers, and acres enrolled in BMP programs.
