Description
In an authored map, labels do not display without their symbols. However, due to differences in the labeling models of vector tiles and authored maps, the labels may appear as floating labels in vector tiles even though the map does not display the labels. This is usually caused by the label visibility scale range extending beyond the symbol visibility scale range. The first parameter identifies the layer and the second parameter identifies the label class.
Solution
You have the following options:
- Do nothing. The layers identified may display floating labels for label classes identified in the vector tiles even though the authored map may not display the labels.
- If you do not want to see floating labels in the vector tiles, create labels classes from symbology layers and specify similar scale ranges as those of the symbology layers. This may require splitting label classes into multiple classes to have them match the symbol scale range.
