Each major, minor, and patch release of ArcGIS AllSource includes fixes for bugs that were reported to Esri Technical Support. The bugs that were fixed are reported in the Issues Addressed list.

ArcGIS AllSource and ArcGIS Pro
ArcGIS AllSource is a geospatial-enabled intelligence workstation for intelligence professionals. ArcGIS Pro is a professional GIS system for a wide audience of users in many industries. Both applications share many common features and capabilities but focus on different types of users. For comparison purposes, the following table shows the equivalent versions of ArcGIS AllSource and ArcGIS Pro:

Companion ArcGIS AllSource and ArcGIS Enterprise versions
ArcGIS is a system that can be extended with multiple products to fit many needs. Two products that are frequently used together are ArcGIS AllSource and ArcGIS Enterprise. Major and minor versions of these two products are developed together and released within months of each other so that shared functionality can be introduced and improved.
Although earlier and later versions of ArcGIS AllSource and ArcGIS Enterprise work together for most functionality, pairing companion versions is recommended. When that isn't possible, staying within a range of two companion versions is recommended. The following table lists the companion versions:

When specific minimum software version combinations are required for a certain functionality, that will be stated in the documentation for that functionality.
Removal and deprecation notices
Notices are released when it is determined that functionality will be removed from a future version of ArcGIS AllSource. The notices describe what will be removed, so you can evaluate whether your workflows will be affected; alternative functionality, so you can find other ways to reach the same or similar results; and when the removal will occur, if known.
Functionality that will be removed in future releases
The functionality described below will be removed from ArcGIS AllSource.
Support for Microsoft SQL Server 2017
ArcGIS AllSource 1.1, ArcGIS Pro 3.3, and ArcGIS Enterprise 11.3 are the last releases to support Microsoft SQL Server 2017. If you use ArcGIS to access data in this database management system version, you'll need to upgrade the database to use it with future versions of ArcGIS.
Database versions no longer supported
ArcGIS no longer supports Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or PostgreSQL 12.x. If you access data in SQL Server 2016 or PostgreSQL 12.x, upgrade the database before you update ArcGIS AllSource, ArcGIS Pro, and other ArcGIS clients.
