Manage workflow item connections

Before you can start working with jobs, you need to connect to a portal that contains a workflow item.

Connect to a workflow item

To connect to a workflow item, complete the following steps:

  1. Start ArcGIS AllSource.
  2. Connect to the portal that contains the workflow item.

  3. Click the View tab.
  4. Click Workflow Manager Workflow Pane.

    The Workflow pane appears.

    If the portal connection contains a single workflow item, ArcGIS AllSource automatically connects to it. You can now work on jobs.

  5. If you have multiple portal connections or workflow items, click the Select Workflow Manager Portal drop-down arrow and choose the portal that you want to connect to.
  6. Choose the workflow item that you want to connect to from the Select Workflow Item list.
  7. Click Connect.

    ArcGIS AllSource connects to the selected workflow item. You can now work on jobs.

Switch workflow items

Complete the following steps to connect to a workflow item when another workflow item is active:

  1. Connect to the portal that contains your workflow item.

  2. Click the View tab.
  3. Click Workflow Manager Workflow Pane.

    The Workflow pane appears.

  4. Click Switch active Workflow Item Switch Active Workflow Item.
  5. Click the Select Workflow Manager Portal drop-down arrow and choose the portal that you want to connect to.
  6. Choose the workflow item that you want to connect to from the Select Workflow Item list.
  7. Click Connect.

    ArcGIS AllSource connects to the selected workflow item. You can now work on jobs.
