You are sharing a catalog layer as a web layer and the dataset contains references to items that are not supported. The type of supported items depends upon what type of web layer you are sharing.
Layer type | Catalog dataset |
---|---|
Web feature layer | Must reference supported portal items. Unsupported items include raster layers, feature layers, mosaic layers, and other locally stored data. |
Map image layer (without associated web feature layer) | Must reference locally stored data; portal items are not supported. |
The <value> parameter refers to the type of web layer or service.
Solutions
Do one of the following:
- If your catalog layer references portal items, share a web feature layer that copies all data or references registered data.
- If your catalog layer references local items, share a map image layer.
- To include a Feature layer or OGC Features layer, your catalog layer must reference portal items. Share the layer as a web feature layer that references registered data.
- If your catalog layer references both portal and local items, remove records with references to unsupported items.
Hover over the analyzer message. Click the Options button that appears and click Select Layer In The Contents Pane. Right-click the layer in the Contents pane and click Attribute Table . Select the records containing the reference to the unsupported item and click Delete Selection .
- Create a catalog layer that references only portal items.
