Include a supplemental page in a report to enhance it with supportive visual material. You can insert supplemental pages above or below a report section or other supplemental pages. You can add both layouts that are in the project and external layout files (.pagx) as a supplemental page. Layouts in the project that you add as a supplemental page remain dynamic. Changes made after you add a supplemental page to a report are included when the report is shared. When inserting a layout file, the layout and all the maps it references are added to the project.
Add a supplemental page to a report
To include a supplemental page with a report, do the following:
- Right-click a report section in the Contents pane. Alternatively, right-click an existing report section in the report document view.

Note:
Layouts of the same page size or smaller are recommended. A warning appears if the chosen layout has a page size that is larger than the report, as the resulting supplemental page will be clipped when shared.
The supplemental page is added to the report.
Include page numbers on a supplemental page
Page numbers defined in the report header or footer are not included on a supplemental page by default, however, they can be. To do this, right-click the supplemental page in either the Contents pane or the report document view and check the Include Page Numbers option. The supplemental page metadata item Include page numbers in the report document view updates to reflect Yes. Page number elements in the page header or page footer of the report will be included on the supplemental page when the report is exported.
Include a supplemental page with the previous report
By default, a supplemental page starts on a new page. However, you can configure it to immediately follow the preceding report, if there is room. To do this, right-click the supplemental page in either the Contents pane or the report document view and uncheck the Start On New Page option. The supplemental page metadata item Start on new page in the report document view updates to reflect No.
Legacy:
Projects and report files (.rptx) that originated in versions prior to ArcGIS Pro 3.2 have this set to No.
