Description
The input Excel worksheet has no recognizable latitude or longitude field names and cannot be imported.
Solution
Verify that the input worksheet contains fields with latitude and longitude. Rename the fields to one of the following recognized names. Then use the XY Table To Point tool to import the file separately.
Recognized field names are as follows:
- Latitude—latitude, lat, y_coordinate, y_coord, y
- Longitude—longitude, long, lon, x_coordinate, x_coord, x
