Solution
Verify that you have correctly specified a pathway to the multifile feature connection file (.mfc). A pathway to a .mfc file should be formatted such as c:\MyProjectFolder\MyMultifileFeatureConnection.mfc.
If you suspect you have made invalid manual edits to your multifile feature connection, try re-creating the connection using the Create Multifile Feature Connection tool.
