Description
The input layer where you'll append data must be a hosted feature layer.
Solution
You can only append features to a hosted layer. Verify that the input layer specified is a hosted layer.
To create a hosted layer, share the layer from ArcGIS AllSource to your portal content. To learn more about sharing layers, see Introduction to sharing web layers.
Alternatively create a hosted copy of the layer by running the GeoAnalytics tool Copy To Data Store on the layer.
