Description
Creating bins of squares or hexagons requires a projected coordinate system. Since a projected coordinate system was not provided, analysis will be completed using the World Cylindrical Equal Area projection.
Solution
This is an informative message. To specify a different projected coordinate system, set the output coordinate system in the Environment Settings.
When running analysis, use the output coordinate system if it is set. If there is no output coordinate system set, the spatial reference of the input layer will be used. When applying binning, if the output coordinate system and input layer are geographic, analysis will default to World Cylindrical Equal Area.
