Known issues

This page describes features of the Survey123 website that are planned or in progress.

My survey with non-ASCII characters in its name won't open in the Survey123 website.

This is a limitation of ArcGIS Online, which doesn't support non-ASCII characters in item names. You can work around this by renaming all files for your survey (including the folder itself) without ASCII characters and republishing it.

The content of the Survey123 website disappears after applying a date range filter.

This issue is exclusive to the Firefox browser and does not occur with other web browsers.

The content of the Survey123 website does not appear as expected when I browse a survey that was created in Survey123 Connect from an existing feature service.

Metadata and records for surveys that were created from an existing feature service cannot currently be displayed in the Survey123 website.

The image submissions in my survey are listed as attachments, with no association to the questions they were submitted in.

Image attachments use keyword parameters to associate an image to the question it was submitted against. For surveys submitted using a version of Survey123 that does not support keyword parameters, images will appear as attachments to a survey response and not the associated question.

If your survey is submitted to ArcGIS Online, republishing your survey will allow submissions with image attachments to be associated with a question. Previously submitted images will remain unassociated, however.

Keyword parameters are not yet supported by ArcGIS Enterprise, meaning that all images submitted are unassociated to questions.
