Manage subscriptions

Once a customer gets your app, you can view and download a detailed usage statistics report, manage renewals, and terminate the subscription.

Note:

For listings that are e-commerce enabled, the option to manage a subscription is not available once a listing has been created.

View statistics

Once you've sold a subscription for your listing, you can view statistics about how many unique members from an ArcGIS Online organization have accessed your item for a selected time period.

  1. Sign in to ArcGIS Marketplace and go to the Console page.
  2. Under the Provider tab, click All Listings.
  3. Click the Reports button View stats next to the listing where you want to view usage information.

Choose to view reports based on Users of Credits. This list displays the number of specified users in the organization that have logged in to the application at least once or the number of credits the organization's members have consumed.

Download details

You can download comma-separated values (CSV) files that contain details about your listings. The files are available for each section of the Console page and contain information on the item, item ID, organization, customer, phone number, email, status, license type, date, and renewal date.

  1. Sign in to ArcGIS Marketplace and go to the Console page.
  2. Click the Provider tab.

The Download as CSV button is available on the Purchase Requests, Activate Subscriptions, and Expired Subscriptions pages.

  3. Click the Download as CSV button.

Manage renewals

You receive an email notification before a subscription expires. This gives you an opportunity to contact the customer about extending their subscription.

  1. Sign in to ArcGIS Marketplace and go to the Console page.
  2. Under the Provider tab, you can Edit Provisions in the Activate Subscriptions or the Expired Subscriptions page.
  3. Click the Edit Provision button Edit provision next to the item where you want to update the renewal date.
  4. Select a renewal date in the pop-up window that appears and click OK.

The subscription renewal date is updated and you and the customer receives an email notification. If you sell your app or data service during the trial period or want to extend a trial, you can also use the above workflow to change trials to a subscription.

Terminate subscription

You can end a subscription at any time. Use caution when terminating a subscription as this action will revoke the customer's access to the item and, depending on the license type the organization has, remove it from any of the customer’s groups. The customer needs to submit a new request to access the item again. When the subscription is terminated, you and your customer receive an email notification.

  1. Sign in to ArcGIS Marketplace and go to the Console page.
  2. Under the Provider tab, you can terminate a subscription in the Activate Subscriptions or the Expired Subscriptions page.
  3. Click the Delete Provision button next to the item where you want to delete the subscription.
  4. Click OK to verify that you want to revoke the customer's access to the app or data service.

The subscription is terminated and you and the customer receive an email notification.
