Globe Service Name: ESRI_Elevation_World

Description: This globe is in mature support; this is the last release of Data Appliance for ArcGIS that will include the World Elevation globe. See ArcGIS Product Lifecycle Support Policy for more information on mature support.

This globe presents elevation data at approximately 90 meters or 1 kilometer per pixel resolution for the world. The elevation data includes 90-meter Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) elevation data from NASA and National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), where it is available, and 1 kilometer GTOPO30 data from the USGS elsewhere. Vertical units are measured in meters.
