Add a CSV layer to a scene

A comma-separated value file (CSV) is a web-based text file that typically includes location information.

To add a CSV layer to a scene, complete the following steps:

1. Click Add Layers on the Designer toolbar.
2. Click CSV to open the CSV pane.
3. Provide the URL of the service in the Layer URL text box.
4. Provide a name for the layer in the Layer name text box.
5. Optionally, do the following to append custom parameters to requests made to the service:
   1. Under Custom parameters, click Configure custom parameters to open the Custom request parameters pane.
   2. Click Add parameter.
   3. Provide the name of the parameter you want to append in the Parameter text box.
   4. Provide the parameter value in the Value text box.
   5. Repeat these steps for each parameter you want to append.
   6. Click Done to apply the changes and return to the CSV pane.

      The specified custom parameters are automatically applied to all requests made to the service.

6. Click Add to add the service to the scene.
